Gazoo
Remember him?
When Sammy was a toddler and would walk around with a batting helmet on his head, we used to call him Gazoo. Now it's Mary's turn~
We've had a lot of rain, so many games have been cancelled. And Mary has napped through quite a few, as well. But when we're able, we try and make it. She's the little mascot, and a nice distraction for the fans when the games drag...

Bedtime Stories
Mary and I are missing the boys - they're on the annual fishing trip to Arkansas. This is Sam's first year, so it's been especially quiet around here. We'll be glad when they're home.

Neither snow nor rain
can keep Mary and me from "Grandparents and Special Person Day" at Madeline and Luke's school. We were so honored to be invited back! It was great to see where they spend their days, and also nice to just spend some time with them both (they are great kids, and I can't believe how fast they are growing up!). Mary liked it, too~

18 Months
Mary had a well-baby visit today with Dr. Dungan. At 21 lbs. 10 oz., and 31" long, she's perfect.
She has the bandages on her arms in the picture because she also needed a blood draw for her thyroid. We were trying to let the numbing cream soak in beforehand. Sadly, it did not go well :( The lab tried 3 times to get a vein, and failed miserably. We ended up leaving without accomplishing anything, except for a pretty unhappy baby and mama. We are going to try again in about a week, and make sure to give her lots more water next time. Mary is such a little trooper.
